RE: Visa and Mastercard Settlement
BankCard Central, Inc. wants to alert you to a refund opportunity in the proposed Visa/MasterCard Settlement. This is a massive $7.25 billion settlement, and many of our merchants are eligible to receive refund money.
If the settlement is approved, Visa and MasterCard will reimburse merchants who were overcharged on the "interchange" fees they paid when they accepted Visa or MasterCard credit or debit payments. If you accepted Visa or MasterCard between January 1, 2004 and November 28, 2012, you may receive a refund based on the fees you paid.
BankCard Central, Inc. is using Settlement Recovery Group (SRG) to help our merchants recover their overcharges. The size of your refund does not depend on how many other merchant processing companies you used.
SRG helps companies get refund money from class action settlements. You can file a claim on your own, but many companies prefer to rely on SRG's expertise with the claims filing process, in order to maximize their recovery and save time. SRG will file your claim and do all the administrative work to get your fair share of recovery money from this settlement.
You will not be participating in a lawsuit. SRG only gets involved once a settlement has been reached. All claims filed by SRG are kept strictly confidential.
There is no upfront cost to you. If SRG is successful, they receive 25% of your refund. If they are not successful, nothing happens and nobody is charged.
Please write your company name and Tax ID number on Page 1 of the claims recovery agreement, and sign on the bottom. On Page 2 please list your street address(es) and additional Tax ID numbers.
