Virtual Terminal
The VerePay Payment Gateway Virtual Terminal is the perfect solution for Mail Order or Telephone Order merchants. If you are manually entering multiple transactions at a time it allows you to key them all in to process. You are able to log order numbers and address information for all of your transactions and provide you with additional options that are not available with a traditional terminal.
Fraud Monitoring
When using VerePay the merchant is in control. You are able to look at each individual transaction and decide whether or not you would like to accept this payment. You can also set up parameters that you would transactions to process within to help prevent fraud.
Fraud Controls
- Address Verification Services (AVS)
Verify that the billing address zip matches the zip code provided by the cardholder
- Card Verification Value (CVV)
Verify that the purchaser has the credit card in hand by matching the CVV value that unique to each card.
- Block Certain Credit Cards
If you know that particular credit card number is linked to fraud or has disputed transactions in the past, you are able to block this credit card from being used on your website.
- IP Addresses
You are able to see the IP Address for each transaction. You can prevent transactions from going through IP Addresses associated with fraud.
- Payer Authentication*
With Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode you are able to authenticate that the cardholder is who they say they are and create buyer confidence. You are also provided with some chargeback protection.
Our gateway is PCI Compliant and our system will never show complete credit card numbers so you are protected from any data breaches by employees. VerePay servers reside in a PCI Compliant Data Center that has double redundancy.
Security
VerePay resides in a state of the art processing facility that is CISP and SAS70 certified. Load balancing and redundancy are utilized to provide for maximum availability. Unique architecture of the application makes it impossible to access our database server from the web. For added peace of mind we encrypt all sensitive data, including Card Numbers, terminal numbers and all credentials using a very complex implementation of 3DES encryption that utilizes multiple keys and vectors.
In addition, we will never show a complete card number on any of our systems. VerePay will continually be adding new features to VerePay, and welcome comments and suggestions from all our users. Rest assured, if you do experience any problems, we have staff available 24 hours a day.
